Meagan came to Baker after 12 years of teaching Spanish and Language Arts in public schools. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Oregon and her Masters in Teaching from Pacific University. Originally from southern Oregon, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling with her family and working on her farm. She’s excited to teach in an online setting and looks forward to working one-on-one with students to help them accomplish their goals.

Suzy comes to Baker Web Academy with a broad experience in the education field. She has worked as an instructional assistant in special education, worked as a behavior intervention trainer and been a high school registrar serving 1700 students. Suzy has a passion for education and being a support to the education system and the administration, teachers and families in order to give students the same passion she feels.

Britten has been fascinated with how children learn since her undergraduate research work which explored cognition in early childhood. After receiving her Bachelors in Physical Anthropology (1997) she went to Loyola to receive her Master of Education (1999). In 2010 she returned to school to earn her Master of Science Education from Oregon State University.

In all her classrooms she strives to reduce barriers so all students can access their education. Britten has worked extensively with special education students, families, and staff to build trust and proficiency in understanding how assistive technology can open doors for reading and writing supports. She holds a particular passion for helping students to find their way while at the same time building-up their confidence. She is thrilled to join BWA as a Special Education diagnostician and science teacher.

An avid reader and lifelong learner, Cathi graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Graphic Design. After being self employed for years, Cathi decided to move into the technology side of things. She has worked with students and educators for an online school, troubleshooting and assisting with all kinds of technology. She loves being the detective and solving technology mysteries. Cathi is married, has two sons, enjoys traveling and the outdoors.
