Rachel has been a teacher for five years in the public school system. She and her family spent 4 years in rural Arizona where she taught first grade for four years. Being a native Oregonian, her family decided to move back home where she taught one year in the fourth grade.
Rachel has her Bachelor's degree in Social science from Portland State University and completed her Master's degree in Teaching at Warner Pacific College. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Instructional Leadership at Concordia University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children. Some favorite activities include going to the river and hiking!
