Heather graduated from Oregon State University and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Education. She has experience teaching in a virtual environment for all grades. Heather believes in the power of technology to make learning accessible for everyone. She is passionate about individualizing education for her students and getting to know the whole family. In addition, she enjoys using technology in her personal life and keeping up with the latest trends along with her students. Heather fully embraces the Central Oregon lifestyle and enjoys hiking, fishing, and kayaking with her husband and three sons. She also enjoys cooking, listening to audio books, and traveling. Heather welcomes diversity and her most recent trip was to Colombia this summer where she practiced her Spanish, learned about the educational system, and visited many beautiful waterfalls.
