Lynsey Martin has a rich teaching history spanning many settings over the past twenty years. Her love of the performing arts and coaching aspiring dancers of all ages and skill sets has always been a large part of her life. Completing a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Portland State University was the catalyst for her to pursue meaningful work in education with a focus on behavior and early intervention. She has worked with Baker Web Academy as a Service Learning Coordinator and Advisory Teacher for 7 years, and her passion for children and their parents has directed her into the new Parent Support Liaison position at our school. A mother herself to two teenagers, she understands “the wild ride” of parenting at all stages of development and the joys and challenges it brings with it. Originally from Portland, OR, she currently resides with her husband, John, and children in Springfield, OR. This season of life for them includes camping, endless home improvement projects, and lots of sports!
