Gaye Ann Woomer was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Eugene upon graduating high school.  Preferring the sunshine over the rain, she moved to Central Oregon where she has resided for a quarter of a century.  Gaye is a highly effective, dependable Paraprofessional with years of extensive experience. She loves the challenges of working in education and the diverse groups of people that she is fortunate to work with.  Believing in the mission of Baker Web Academy to empower the next generation through innovative, personalized and rigorous educational options, motivates her.  The heart of success for Baker Charter Schools is helping all students become motivated, INDEPENDENT learners in an environment of INNOVATION, individualized education, and personal INTERACTION; this vision statement guides her.
Gaye is a mother of two beautiful, intelligent teenagers one of which is a Baker Early College student and a former Baker Web Academy student.  Her favorite pastime is cooking and going for long walks with Bjorn, the family's golden retriever and a future therapy dog.
