About Accreditation

Baker Charter Schools is renewing our accreditation during the course of this 2016-2017 school year with AdvancED.  This page guides BCS stakeholders through the process and provides you access to important information, ways to participate and opportunities to help.

Accreditation is a third-party external review process that evaluates our school on operational components and provides detailed feedback.  This process ensures we are operating in alignment with current best practice in the field.  Keeping our accreditation current allows us to have our credits transfer to colleges, universities, and other K-12 institutions.

October-November– Collect Surveys

December-January– Evaluate Surveys and Plan for Visit

March– Site Visit @ North Baker Education Center
